Just came back from taking the children trick-or-treating and there were VERY few people out! Came back and hubby said that NO ONE has come by trick-or-treating!! A couple of people have come by since I've been home, but geez people, what's going on? Are there just not that many kids in our neighborhood anymore? I do know of a few neighbors that are going to a local Halloween carnival at a church. That seems to be the big thing nowadays, I guess......
It's just not like the old days, you know? I used to go trick-or-treating in my grandma's neighborhood growing up. We went up one side of the street and back down the other side, and we knew all the neighbors.
It seems like the neighborhoods just aren't like they used to be when I was growing up.........:(
