While taking pictures for the Photo Scavenger Hunt (see below), I was also just taking pictures of my daughter, among other things. We were at a park and in the botanical building where my oldest was doing homework for a project she had to complete.

My youngest was walking around with me and I love to take pictures of her when she's not "posed" per se, because she tends to have those cheesy smiles. All of her school pictures will attest to that.

Anyway, I turned around and took this random shot of her and it just happened where her eyes "found the light", so to speak. And I happen to think she has amazing eyes, which just make them stand out even more here.

Photo Scavenger Hunt

My friend, Michelle, did a Photo Hunt Challenge last month on her blog. I absolutely LOVED it and wanted to do one as well. Well, the Challenge at Photo Hunt Challenges is only every other month and last month happened to be the month that she did not do it. However, Kristi, found another blog who DID do a Photo Scavenger Hunt in September so I decided to participate.

The other day I went down to the beach in the late afternoon with my camera and went to observe and see what was there to shoot.

Yea, I know. I've been totally MIA from here lately.

Just been busy I guess, and not in the mood to write.

Last week I got a new lens for my camera, it's been one that I have been wanting for a LOOONG time. (can you say f/2.8 baby!!)

I started taking pictures for one of the teams in my daughters' softball league that we have friends on.

These are just a few I took today with my new lens. Man, I love that lens....

My desire is to really get into photography again, with sports being my first love to shoot.
